Induction Cooker Troubleshooting and Error Codes (HD4928 / HD4929)


If your newly purchased induction cooker has pissed you off, worry no more as I have put the solution at your disposal. If in case your device or the induction cooking machine does not work or does not work properly or if the quality of the food is insufficient, you can read the article further. If this article cannot solve your problem, please contact the service center of your respective brands or the Consumer Contact Center in your country.

Now you can go with the different problems that can take place on your machine that the solution has been given to.

1. When the power button does not respond to the on / off command, it means there is a connection problem. Check whether the induction cooker is connected to the mains and the plug is properly inserted into the outlet or not.

2. When the appliance beeps continuously and stops working suddenly, it occurs when unsuitable cookware is stored on the cooktop or cookware has been removed from the cooktop during cooking. Make sure cookware is made of steel, iron or aluminum with a stainless steel liner base with a diameter greater than 12 cm.

3. When the cookware is not heated to the required temperature, this situation arises when the bottom of the cookware is not flat. Therefore, use flat-bottomed cookware. If the problem persists, consult your brand dealer or authorized service center.

4. When the appliance is not changing from one preset mode to another, in this case, turn off the machine and restart with another cooking mode.

5. When the cooking temperature of the preset modes is too high or too low, then switch to manual mode for better temperature control. You can even adjust the cooking temperature in the following modes: – manual, roti / dosa, stir-fry and pressure cook.

6. After pressing one of the cooking mode buttons, the light of the selected mode does not come on, in this case the light has become faulty. Consult your brand dealer or authorized service center.

7. When the cooking temperature changes automatically in some preset modes, the cooking temperature changes automatically in sauce mode only. For better temperature control, switch to manual mode.

8. If the fan starts running without the appliance turning on, press a cook mode button after pressing the center button (On / Off). If you don’t press any of the cook style buttons within a minute, the induction cooker will turn off and the fan will continue to run for a while to cool down the machine.

Error codes and their meanings

  1. E1 or E2: Primary sensor is shorted or open-circuit state. Consult your brand dealer or authorized service center.
  1. E3 or E4: When this error code is displayed on the screen, it means that the heat sink sensor is shorted or open-circuit state. Ask your brand dealer or authorized service center.
  1. E5 or E6: Sometimes the voltage is too low or too high. Wait for the voltage to stabilize and try again.
  1. E7: The fan has a fault. Consult your brand dealer or authorized service center.
  1. E8: The main sensor is not working. Ask your brand dealer or authorized service center.
  1. E9: The fuse is not working properly. Ask your brand dealer or service center that attends you.
