Second, familiarize yourself with the place.; that is, know the place where you will speak. Arrive at the venue early enough, walk around the speaking arena at the same time you exercise using the microphone and any visuals.

Third, get familiar with the audience. Wave to a few of the attendees as they approach the venue, as it’s easier to talk to a crowd of friends than a group of strangers.

Fourth, create in your mind yourself giving yourself a speech.. In other words, operate from your individual brand, visualize yourself communicating, your deafening, audible and confident tone of voice, by imagining yourself victorious, you will automatically be successful.

Fifth, understand your material; put your speech into practice and rework as much as possible. If you don’t recognize your material or aren’t confident with it, apprehension increases, which is bad for the public forum.

Sixth, pay attention to the message, not the medium.. Move your concentration away from your own nervousness and outwardly towards your own points and your audience, so the restlessness will vanish.

Seventh point, relax; relieve worry by exercising.

Eighth, gain experience. Fluency builds self-confidence, which everyone knows is the key to successful speaking; for example, clubs can make the practice you need available to you.

Ninth point, convert tension into optimistic energy.. Squeeze her nerve force and turn it into strength and passion to speak to the public.

The tenth and final point to give a successful speech is: DO NOT apologize.. If you talk about your concern or apologize for any speech difficulties you think you had with your speech, you may be drawing listeners’ attention to a point they weren’t aware of.
