3 simple tips to write an original article

The best written articles contain 300 to 500 words. Think about it. Would you like to read a 20 page book just to learn how to clean silverware? Neither do your readers. They just want the information, so they can use it immediately. So how do you come up with ideas for writing your original article?

Here are three easy ways to write your original article.

1) Use “Tips and Top Ten”. People love tips and top ten lists. Try writing your ideas down like this, “Top 10 Ways to Care for Your Flatware,” or “5 Tips to Keep Your Flatware Like New,” or perhaps “A Butler’s Secret to Keeping Your Flatware Spotless.” This makes it easy to stay focused.

2) Write the article as a review. People love to know what others think. If anyone is interested in buying an iPhone from Apple, you can bet they’re looking at product reviews. People read reviews all the time, about books by their favorite author, about the latest blockbuster movie, or about the new software release. By doing your own review, your articles will be original and you will help your readers.

3) Use of Frequently Asked Questions. Articles titled “Frequently Asked Questions When Buying Flatware” or “Frequently Asked Questions About Caring For Flatware” are simple enough to write. People read the FAQ because they have a question that hasn’t been answered or because they want to know more about it.

On the Internet, when people read an article, they want fast, hard facts. Easy to understand information and user friendly tips. I think we can all agree that articles should provide a solution to our problems or give us useful tips to improve our life. At least, those are the kind of articles I’d like to read.
