Attraction Marketing: Why Mike Dillard Changed My Perspective on Network Marketing


Let’s face the basic facts. Building a business can be difficult. Let me rephrase that, it will be difficult. You will always run into problems and challenges. It seems that the people who can overcome challenges and not give up are the ones who make the most money in network marketing. I came across Mike Dillard’s concept called Inbound Marketing and it changed my thinking.

What I was previously taught was to call everyone I know. Put literally over a hundred names on a list and call them to invite them to a meeting or party at a hotel. Needless to say, that didn’t work at all. In fact, it made people not even want to date me. He was known as the type of business that just wants your money.

After failing so much, I stumbled upon inbound marketing. Basically, it teaches you how to become an alpha network marketer. What this means is to become so attractive and valuable that people come to you. And not just anyone, it’s the right kind of people that will fit into your business.

I feel like one of the reasons people quit is because they spend a lot of energy on people who aren’t serious. If you’re concerned about unqualified people, inbound marketing is the way to go.

Most of the concepts I had never heard of before, mainly because they were never taught to me. If you had told me 2 years ago that I might have prospects calling me to find out what business I’m in, I would have laughed at you.

Start branding yourself as a leader in the home business industry and you can make it happen. I don’t care how you do it; just make sure you separate yourself from the rest of the affiliates promoting your product or service.
